Good Practices in eLearning Consortia

The "Good Practices in eLearning Consortia" were developed in collaboration with the National University Telecommunication Network (NUTN) and the Higher Learning Commission.

The document is intended to serve as a resource and guide for eLearning consortia, for institutions or agencies considering the creation of an eLearning consortia, and for quality assurance agencies providing assistance to such consortia.

Consensus has been growing among educators about the attributes of quality in online learning.  WCET is offering a preconference workshop on Achieving Quality at the November 1-4, 2006 conference in Portland, Oregon.

Good Practices for Online Consortia
The document was prepared as a resource for developing online consortia.  To obtain feedback the document was presented at the NUTN conference in June 2005, Higher Learning Commission Conference 2006 and the 2006 NUTN Conference.

Good Practices Benchmarking Survey

The Good Practices were "taylored" for a benchmarking survey.

A Zoomerang instrument was developed.

Benchmarking Survey for Minnesota Online
The "Good Practices" were moved into a survey format for benchmarking purposes for Minnesota Online.  Minnesota Online Council members participated in the survey.
